Air Fried Masala Falafel

@katsu_eats and I decided to create our own versions of a baked or air-fried falafel. For my spin off, I added typical Indian spices from my masala box! The falafels are filled with cilantro, a TON of mango powder (amchur), chili powder, turmeric and cumin. I served these delicious falafels with hummus, feta garlic dip, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion, and tortillas to wrap. 🌶️🥬🍅 They came out soft, crispy, and full of flavor!


1 Can Chickpeas Drained – 15.5 Oz or 3/4 C Dried Chickpeas

If using dried chickpeas, make sure they are soaked overnight
1/2 C Cilantro
1/3 C Parsley
4 Garlic Cloves
3/4 of a Large Red Onion Roughly Chopped
1/2 Tsp Turmeric
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1.5 Tsp Cumin Powder
1/5 Tsp Dried Mango Powder
1 Tsp Salt (or to taste)
1 Tsp Black Pepper
3 Tbsp Almond Flour
1/2 C Panko Bread Crumbs (optional)
Olive Oil or Clarified Butter (Ghee)
